Edinburgh Cleans Up in Scottlsh Style Awards Shortlists

EDINBURGH CLEANS UP IN SCOTTISH STYLE AWARD SHORTLISTS

Scotland’s Style Awards showcase the best trend-setting design our country has to offer.

The winners will be announced at a fabulous show hosted by Sophie Ellis Bextor at the Old Fruitmarket in Glasgow on 31 October.

As you’d expect, Edinburgh businesses have garnered a more than fair share of these prestigious nominations.

Boudiche is among the nominees for the Most Stylish Boutique award and Paul Kitching’s 21212 (on Royal Terrace) and Hotel Missoni  (overlooking the Royal Mile) are strong contenders in the Most Stylish Hotel category.

Bar Treacle
in Broughton Street is a worthy opponent in the Most Stylish Bar competition and Bacaro in Hope Street Lane is a contender  for the award of Most Stylish Entertainment Venue.

In the Most Stylish Restaurant category, The Saint in St. Stephen’s Street is surely in with a strong chance.

Edinburgh-born actress Louise Linton (recently appearing in CSI, Lions for Lambs with Tom Cruise and the US detective series Cold Case) is a nominee for Most Stylish Female as is the capital’s own Tessa Campbell Fraser, a sculptor and artist counting Mohammed Al Fayed, The Queen and Sir Jackie Stewart  amongst her list of clients.

Good luck Edinburgh!
