All He Wants for Christmas.....

ALL HE WANTS FOR CHRISTMAS

What’s calorie-free, costs no money and makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside?

Put romance squarely on the menu and seduce your man this Christmas….

Celebrate Love and Intimacy

Dreading the thought of shopping, cooking and making polite chit-chat with the in-laws?  It may be the season to be jolly, but many couples row more at Christmas than any other time of the year.  In fact, the financial and family strains are such that more couples split up in January than in any other month.

So why not make the festive season a time to celebrate love and intimacy?   We’ve put together a sizzling list of ways to savour all that glorious time off  and invest in your Significant Other.

1.  Load up on Aphrodisiacs.

Forget the bread sauce and mince pies and think oysters, figs and chocolate.  If you want some of what ‘she’s’ having (think Meg Ryan in 'When Harry Met Sally) grab yourselves some epicurean ecstasy.

2.  Set Aside Time for Sex

Having sex actually reinforces (rather than dissipates) the desire for more sex. Sexual activity increases levels of  your brain’s “love drug” dopamine, the chemical that triggers lust and desire. And dopamine effectively makes you feel infatuated with your partner.  Create anticipation by putting a little red heart on his calendar or send increasingly racy texts as the nightime draws near ….

3.  Give Him Vouchers for ‘Personal Services’

Massages, long lingering foreplay, a quickie on the kitchen counter….. you get the idea!

4.  Plan Like You Would for a New Relationship

Buy new lingerie,  try new perfumes, cook him a fabulous meal…..

5.  Exchange raunchy Xmas Gifts.

How about some adult videos or couple-oriented sex toys?

6. Play

There’s nothing  like play to put the 'X' factor into your love life.  Forget ‘Hang the Man’.  Don those blindfolds, share those fantasies, talk ever-so-dirty and get ready to surprise....  Read our article on using play to spice up your sex life…

7. Flirt

Flirting with your partner will remind you both of the early stages of romance.  Read our article on intimate body language….

8.  Go Easy on the Alcohol

OK a couple of drinks can get you in the mood for lurve and really loosen your inhibitions. BUT…. too much alcohol can be a depressant. It dampens the central nervous system, slows down nerve impulses, affects coordination and can make it difficult for females to produce sufficient lubrication and males to maintain an erection. Use with caution if you want to really heat the sheets!

9. Grab an Adrenalin Rush

Prior to getting horizontal try thinking outside of the bedroom!  Indulge in activities together that get the adrenalin pumping. Ride a roller coaster, jump out of a plane, learn how to ski. If you’re not outdoorsy you could always just try watching an action-packed movie. Experiencing a heart-thumping rush really stimulates you and if you do it together it really enhances your sexual connectivity.

10.  Laugh Together

Both laughter and sex increase levels of endorphins, a chemical substance that causes a state of euphoria. Making each other laugh in bed will result in a double dose of mood-enhancing hormones.

Try out some crazy new positions – the more elaborate the better. Forget embarrassment. Approach your erotic adventures with humour and you’ll double the intensity of your orgasm!.
