At 50 Iris gave up her position as Sales Director for a large blue chip company, split up from her long term partner & decided to set up in business offering manicures & pedicures. Five years on Iris says she doesn't look back.
 
Plucky Iris has brought up two sons on her own & held down a full-time job at the same time. At 50 Iris felt she had the urge to try something completely different. So she ventured into manicures & pedicures!  After a year of studying she rented a room in a salon and quickly established a good client base.  With the impending arrival of her grandson she wanted to both extend her range of skills and work from home.
 
Iris really wanted to help others and had a real interest in reiki. She went on to study and practice this and it not only helped her through her work transition (from being employed to self employed) but also through her break up with her long term partner.
