A same-day doctor guaranteed?  A walk-in clinic?  These days when we’re all so pushed for time and doctors’ surgeries seem busier than ever, who wouldn’t welcome a service like that?

Medicalternative, Edinburgh’s leading private medical and health care practice has joined the samedaydoctor™ network, the highly successful London-based service that offers medical services within 24 hrs, providing immediate medical appointments across Scotland.  A centrally located walk-in clinic at Medicalternative’s Edinburgh practice will also be in operation 6 days per week from mid September*.

The samedaydoctor™ service offers a wide range of medical facilities, such as instant HIV, STD and Chlamydia tests,  GP appointments, travel health clinics, blood and urine tests,  inoculations, swine flu vaccinations, occupational health services, health screening and counselling.   It’s a completely confidential service and information is never passed to a patient’s GP without the patient’s permission.
