I think we'll look back on this the same way we look back on Nelson Mandela's release.  It's a turning point.  It has to be.  Really hope I'm noT wrong.....

Time will tell about Obama. I have a good feeling although US is in a very bad way financially and an awful lot of pressure will be put on him to fix things. He is am improvement on Bush, he is young with energy and appears to be very genuine.

I wish I could agree with you M.  Politicians just say whatever they think you want to hear.  They're manipulative cynics.  And Mandela might be fairly clean (what about the arms tho?) but he's surrounded by some dodgy characters who were full of promises at the beginning.  Do hope you're right tho'.
