Natalie Cassidy's 'Then and Now' Workout
It's pretty full on and very hard work. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone with bad joint problems or a massive amount of weight to lose.
The warm up section did just what you'd expect, got me warmed up and loosened up without tiring me out for the main workout.
The "sweat" section was really great, and a whole lot of fun. Once you'd learned the steps it was very easy to carry on without worrying too much about getting it wrong. They do go through the same thing several times so you have plenty of time to get it right. I was definitely sweating by the end of this!
The "punch" section was awesome! I've never done any kind of boxercise before, but found this to be a real laugh. Lots of punching, and then lots of working on the legs by kicking. I found the kicking the most challenging, but I think doing it a few more times I will get the hang of it!
I haven't quite finishedthe last toning section yet as I was completely worn out (but this is the only exercise I've done in months). I was finding it quite difficult as they went straight into basically doing pushups straight away. I was reassured by Natalie saying "don't worry if you can't do 8 of these, I couldn't at first".
One of the main things I like about this DVD is it's very realistic. The workouts aren't hours long, and you don't feel bad about not being able to do things as you see how Natalie was struggling before and admittedly still not the most graceful person in the world (but then none of us are!)
