Fitness Classes that require no coordination?

Edinburgh Girl's picture

I really want to start fitness classes but i just don't know my left from right and spend so much time concentrating on going the right way and copying the moves that i don't really get fit - can anyone suggest a fitness class that does not require any coordination at all?

Can I recommend Pilate's, it does take one or two lessons to get the hang of it, but as the movements are so slow you have plenty time to get into position and if you are in a small class the instructor is always there to help. I thoroughly recommend Mairie Thompson at Craigroysten Community Centre who runs some lovely pilates classes at £5 a lesson which is nearly half of the big Gym Pilates classes.
