The Dude Abides - Changes

Jodi's picture

Over the last few weeks, you might have noticed a few changes around the site. Informed Women's front page has been in something of a constant heap of upheaval and we've added a new Edinburgh Events section while removing or revamping areas of the site that were proving less popular than others. We've also streamlined the panels on the front pages and sidebars and smoothed away a few rough edges.

It's an ongoing process and at times some of the cracks may show as we work to overhaul the site but please do bear with us - we're doing our best to create a better site for all of our readers.

In the coming weeks you can expect a feast of new content as we prepare for spring, with features on everything from Easter to Gardening. You'll still receive our regular newsletter, of course, although it's now going to be arriving fortnightly rather than every two weeks to give our hard-working editor June a chance to produce content for other areas of the site.

And, most exciting of all, Informed Women will soon become Informed Edinburgh to reflect the inclusive nature of the website and to prepare for future expansion into other Scottish cities. You'll still be able to enjoy the same great mix of articles, features tips and the style and tone of the site will stay faithful to what our readers have come to expect from Informed Women. Hopefully it won't be too long before the residents of Glasgow, Aberdeen, Dundee, Stirling, Inverness and all the rest will be able to enjoy thier own local Informed site, tailored specifically for their city.

Until then, we hope you enjoy the changes we're making to Informed Edinburgh and would like to thank you most sincerly for your support to date.

The Dude Abides.
