Coleen Nolan's Disco Burn
As a workout this is fantastic fun. The warm up gives you a taste of what's to come, the Lo Burn aerobic section has you working up a sweat and picking up the steps so that when it comes to Inferno (the high intensity aerobic section) you're familiar enough with the moves to be able to strut your stuff with confidence. I guarantee if you do this workout with a friend, within ten minutes you'll feel like members of Pan's People (or Legs & Co. for younger readers.....).
The disco aerobic sections will have you working up a sweat, working out with a grin on your face, and feeling like you've had a lot of gain without all that much pain...
The pain does come however, in the form of the Ab workout. It takes a couple of run throughs to be able to keep up the pace on the screen but it's a really good workout for bums, tums and thighs. The section is only 10 minutes long which is short enough to be able to see the end in sight even a couple of minutes in, but the intensity is enough to be able to feel it working and to get rapid results.
The toning section works on thighs, some abs, and posture and involves sitting down (which I thought was a bit of a cop out until I did the workout and could feel it working muscles I didn't know I had).
The cool down is pretty standard - but necessary for optimum results. If you were to do the whole workout it would take just under an hour, but as it's broken down into sensible sections it's very easy to do three 30-minute sessions a week.
