My ex gave me a really romantic present once on Valentine's Day. Bike pyjamas. I'd never heard of them either but its basically a big plastic sheet that fits over your bike. Bless him he'd noticed it was rusting and thought I might need it...what with the summer coming and everything. I was horrified at the time but thinking about it it was probably more romantic than schumltzy chocs or flowers. They did stop my bike from rusting too if I'm honest.

Of course they are, they always share their chips! - I do think Scottish men are romantic, after our first date many many moons ago my now husband sent me a red rose, i was in love and still am!

bless them, i do think they try to be romantic somehow it never quite works, although my boyfriend has done his fair share of romantic gestures they tend to be practical rather than extravagent. But if the truth be told i probably prefer practical
