Cocoa Butter Hand Cream

Ingredients:
2 cups warm water
1 1/2 cup glycerin
1/2 ounce spirit of ammonia
1/2 ounce cocoa butter
1/2 teaspoon boric acid
1 cup stearic acid

To make:
Combine the cocoa butter, glycerin and stearic acid in a glass bowl. Melt over low heat in a pot of hot water. Remove the bowl and add ammonia. Stir until milky. Add boric acid to warm water. Add to first mixture. Mix with beater for 10 minutes at high speed. Perfume and color as desired. Age for 2 weeks before using.

To use:
Rub into hands
 

Oatmeal Hand Scrub
Exfoliating your hands with a gentle scrub can help them look younger and healthier. Use this simple hand scrub recipes to rejuvenate your hands.

Ingredients:
2 tbsp oatmeal
1 1/2 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp olive oil

How to make:
Add the oatmeal to 1/4 cup water and let stand 10 minutes until oatmeal is softened.
Add 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice and 1/2 teaspoon olive oil to oatmeal and mix well.

To use:
Rub mixture into your hands and let stand 1-2 minutes. Rinse with cool water and pat dry. Apply moisturizer to your hands and let it soak in 10-15 minutes.

Lemon Juice Nail Whitener
Soak your nails in water with lemon juice or lemon slices. The lemon acts as an astringent and will strip away stains.  

Paraffin Wax Treatment

Ingredients:
4 bars of paraffin wax

How to make:
Melt 4 bars of parrafin wax in the microwave oven.

To use:
Massage in a rich moisturizer.

Dip one hand into warm paraffin 3 times, pausing between layers to allow them to dry.

Wrap each hand with plastic wrap tight enough to make an airtight seal. This will help the moisturizer to penetrate.

Let set for twenty minutes.

Remove wrap and peel off the wax.

Denture Tablet Nail Whiteners

Ingredients:
1 denture tablet
1 cup warm water

To use:
Pour the water in a small bowl and drop the denture tablet in it. Soak your hands in the mixture for 10 minutes. Rinse with warm water.
